Why Swiss Water? The Swiss Water process is a chemical-free alternative to decaffeination methods that use methylene or ethyl acetate. It retains most of the flavors of the original beans. The Swiss Water Process is certified organic.
About this Coffee: This coffee always comes from small producers who bring their ripe cherry down to the local dry mill to be paid premiums on the spot. It is excellent as the backbone for house blends & espresso. It is then shipped to Swiss Water to be decaffed. The results gives a classic Guatemala profile with chocolates and a nice nutty finish, just without the caffeine.
